We should never forget Surat Ya Sin. Its relationship to the rest of the Quran is like the relationship of a ruler to his subjects.

Whatever is confronting you, recite Ya Sin!

If you are scared of something, recite Ya Sin!

If you hope for something, recite Ya Sin!

If you are worried about something, recite Ya Sin!

All good is contained in it, it is absolutely comprehensive.

Recite it always.

What does reciting it signify? You are using the “heart of the Quran” as a means for Allah to remove harm or to fulfil a need.

Once you have recited it, take the means: take the medicine, go to the Doctor, whatever needs to be done...

But before that, turn to Allah, the cause behind everything, the Creator, the All Merciful.

(Habib Kazim al-Saqqaf )
