“Make sure children’s hearts are tied to their parents. Parents cannot raise children by proxy anymore. The old adage that it takes a village to raise a child is no longer valid. You can’t rely on others to help because the social norms and limits that used to be there in the past don’t exist anymore. The village is no longer in place. You need to be very conscious to tie your children’s hearts to you. You cannot be absent parents. The first place is showing your children two people who have an excellent marriage and showing them Islam worked in their home”.
